Whew! October sure went by fast! We had an awesome time at Mill No 5 last weekend, met some great people and had some spooky fun. Now that the holiday season has officially begun, we're noticing certain vintage items are getting a lot of views at our Etsy shop. Here are the top vintage items for the past week. (HINT: popular items usually won't last long, so if you see something you like order now!)

Seems fall is really in the air for everyone going by this week's most favorited items on Offbeat Avenue. 1. First on the list is not surprisingly, with Halloween coming up so fast, our vintage Gremlins movie Gizmo costume pattern! Still factory-folded, this is in excellent shape and is at a great price at $30. No one at the party will have this costume! UPDATE: This pattern sold September 12! 2. Next is our vintage Argus camera with leather case. The Road to Our New Vintage Shop: Part 2

Dressing Room: Idea to Reality Since my last post I'm happy to report that the dressing room is done! Dressing rooms can be tricky to set up because we needed it to be big enough to move around in and the curtain had to be tall enough for people of average height to get some privacy. We secured the wall which is actually two doors that are braced perpendicularly to the wall, screwed in the fixtures to hold the curtain rod, and hammered in our sign. Don't you love Michelle's hand painted Dressing Room sign? The pictures here show the panes in the doors, which we plan to cover with some graphics for privacy (no peeking as Bertrand says!). Our back wall is the first thing you see when you walk in and unfinished paneled wood was not the look we wanted. First Vintage Show of the Year!

 Michelle and I are so pumped! Our first show since before COVID! Hope you'll join us tomorrow, Sunday, June 6 5am to 3pm at Todd Farm Antiques and Flea Market. We just packed up the OffbeatMobile chock full of vintage goodies that aren't available on our Etsy shop. We've been saving this stuff for a market since you have to really see it in person to be-LOVE it! We've got vintage television sets, a vintage radio, vintage reel to reel player, steamer case, vintage vanity with mirror and much more! Hope to see you there!
